We are going to Appear in the Independence Day Bible Quiz

Posted by templemount on 4 April, 2009

Last Monday the producers of the Independence Day Annual International Bible Quiz came to the Sifting site to film one of the questions of the quiz. It will include the bulla of the son of Imer, which we have recovered in the Sifting process. Aran Yardeni and I were interviewed for this question.

To those of you who are not acquainted with Aran, he was my “partner in crime” when we first surveyed the debris dump in the Kidron Valley, when we were students. He was not involved in first two years of the project because he was living in India for several years.

It is a great honor to have one of the questions of this prestigious traditional annual event be based on one of the finds in our project.

Stay tuned to channel 1 on Independence day morning.

    That’s really exciting! Congratulations!

  2. Congratulations on your question being asked at this conference. Who is “the son of Imer”? I did a search on this person, but did not find any conclusive evidence. When are we going to move the mosque, so we can dig up the temple of Solomon? It would be so much easier to rebuild it.

Happy Trails! Hope you find lots of good stuff in your digging!

Hi. This is a little off, but what will happen to the Roman era, probably Jewish, catacombs found in Bethlehem. If the Palestinians published it, would they still be able to destroy them? What will happen to future Jewish antiquities found in Palestinian areas? I wish you a lot of support in what you do.
